Standard Git worktrees
FlowTree creates ordinary worktrees. You can still use them from Git, your editor, and other tools.
How it works
FlowTree runs Git and terminals on your Mac.
Your repositories remain in their existing locations. FlowTree uses your local Git installation, standard worktrees, and tmux for terminal sessions.
Terminal sessions
FlowTree starts detached tmux sessions for terminal tabs. They can keep running when you close the app and reconnect when you return.
Settings stored locally
Project settings, terminal profiles, and review state are stored in FlowTree's application data on your Mac.
Network connections
What can connect to the internet.
FlowTree has no repository service of its own. Some tools and services you use through the app do connect to the internet:
- Git contacts your configured remote when you fetch, pull, or push.
- An AI CLI or other command may contact its own provider.
- Pro activation and periodic licence checks contact Lemon Squeezy.
